Children Services
Dependable, Professional & Reliable
Growing up can be emotionally challenging for many young people. It can be difficult for parents or carers to know when a young person’s behaviour is related to his/her mental health and need specialist help. Young persons can experience highs and lows during childhood and adolescence, as well as a wide range of unique pressures which can be related to school, friends, family, bullying, cyberbullying, social media, peer pressure, sexuality and puberty. Young people may struggle emotionally and engage in unhealthy behaviours, and a proportion may go on to develop persistent mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, stress and eating disorders.
We offer a range of services that are suitable for children and young adults requiring rapid access to mental health and learning disability services. Our staff are highly trained in meetings needs of service users. We value collaboration and have created a model of care based on an integrated approach whereby family, service users, commissioners and carers are all involved in the rehabilitation and recovery of the individual.
We offer a quick response to referrals. We’re focused on making sure people move on/recover as quickly and safely as possible from our services to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment for them.
